What we collect

for(geeks) has no accounts, no comment forms, and no advertising trackers. Reading the site requires no personal data. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) for security and capacity planning; logs are rotated and deleted within 30 days.

Cookies and local storage

We set no tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your color-theme preference (local storage, never transmitted to us).

Third parties

Images may be served through a content delivery network, which sees the same technical data any web request contains. We do not sell or share reader data with anyone.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data we hold, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Given what we collect (see above), in practice this concerns server logs only.
