The pricing starts at Rs 12,999, keeping the pair squarely in the part of the market where every extra feature has to justify itself.

That also puts Ai+ in a crowded arena. In this segment, companies such as Redmi, Realme and Motorola have spent years turning “good enough” into a selling point, which means Ai+ is not just launching phones – it is trying to win attention with a cleaner spec sheet and an aggressive entry price.

Nova 2 Neo 5G specs

The Nova 2 Neo 5G uses a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits of brightness. Inside, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, plus microSD expansion of up to 2TB. Ai+ is also shipping Android 16-based NxtQuantum OS, which is a lot of software branding for a phone that is clearly chasing first-time 5G buyers.

The Nova 2 Pro 5G steps up to a 6.9-inch FHD+ LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits of brightness, backed by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor. It also brings up to 8GB of RAM, the same 128GB storage ceiling, stereo speakers, customizable rear notification lights, and a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. In other words, this is the version Ai+ hopes people notice first.

Both phones will be sold through Flipkart starting June 26 at 12 PM, and buyers using eligible bank cards can shave off an instant Rs 1,000.

Ai+ has loaded both phones with the same basics that matter most at this price point: IP65 dust and splash resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, expandable storage up to 2TB and the NxtPrivacy Dashboard. The interesting question is whether that is enough to pull buyers away from more established rivals, or whether the company has simply made the budget formula a little shinier.
