Russian shoppers showed a clear shift toward wireless headphones with active noise cancellation and high-resolution audio in Q2 2026, according to AliExpress CIS sales data. The marketplace reviewed both TWS and over-ear models and ranked the devices that sold best during the quarter.
In the true wireless segment, Realme dominated the chart, taking the top three spots. Buds Air8 Pro also quickly became one of the most in-demand models after its launch in Russia. Another notable change: open-ear clip-on headphones entered the top five for the first time. Because they do not block the ear canal, they are typically used for workouts, walks, and situations where users still want to hear their surroundings.
The top TWS models were:
- Realme Buds Air8 Pro
- Realme Buds Air 8
- Realme Buds Air7 Pro
- Lenovo LE302
- Xiaomi Redmi Buds 8 Pro
In the over-ear and on-ear category, Ugreen claimed three of the top five places. The list also included Baseus EH10 NC and Fiio EH11, a retro-styled model aimed at buyers who want more than just noise cancellation.

- Baseus EH10 NC
- Fiio EH11
- Ugreen Studio Plus
AliExpress CIS analysts link the shift to features that were once limited to expensive headphones moving into the mid-range. The report points to noise cancellation, modern codecs, long battery life, and AI-based features, including real-time speech translation. It adds that this trend is visible beyond AliExpress as brands such as Sony, JBL, and Anker push similar capabilities, making competition less about price alone.
AliExpress also noted that three models in the top 10 only reached the market in 2026. In a category where product lineups refresh almost monthly, that suggests buyers are quick to adopt new features when the benefits show up in everyday use, not just on a spec sheet.
