Cuktech packs 90W into a car charger with retractable USB-C
Cuktech’s new in-car charger combines a magnetic wireless pad with a 0.7-meter retractable USB-C cable and up to 90W wired output.

Cuktech has launched a new car charger in China that combines a magnetic wireless charging mount with a retractable USB-C cable. The device, called the Cuktech 10 Car Magnetic Wireless Charger with Retractable Cable, is already listed on JD.com for 149 yuan — about $22.
The pitch is convenience, but the hardware is more ambitious than a typical car mount. The magnetic pad delivers up to 15W wirelessly, while the built-in cable extends to 0.7 meters for faster wired charging. Compared with standard in-car holders that often top out at slower wireless charging, the setup is aimed at longer drives and road trips.

There are a few caveats. Wireless charging reaches 15W in general, but iPhone support is capped at 7.5W. There is no Qi2, so newer iPhones do not get 15W magnetic charging.

Wired charging is the stronger part of the package, with support for USB PD, PPS, QC, and Xiaomi HyperCharge. Cuktech lists these specs:

Over the cable, the charger can deliver up to 90W to compatible Xiaomi smartphones, up to 65W to laptops, up to 60W to Samsung devices, and up to 43W to Huawei hardware. A separate USB-A port on the adapter works independently from the charging mount, so two devices can be powered at once without a noticeable drop across channels, according to the source.
Cuktech says the retracting mechanism is rated for 20,000 cycles and the cable for 10,000 bends. It also includes protection against overheating, overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuits. The box includes a vent clip, while some bundles also add a 3M adhesive pad for dashboard mounting.
Cuktech has been expanding its charger lineup in recent months, and this model continues that push. In China’s market for compact 45W to 67W car chargers, the combination of 90W wired charging and 15W wireless charging looks like a direct attempt to compete with pricier all-in-one alternatives.
