Portable power stations keep getting lighter and more capable, and Jackery is using that momentum for a new partnership with the American Red Cross. The company’s “Power the Rescuers” lineup, due to go on sale in September, includes three red portable power stations built around emergency use cases for first responders and backup power at home.

Jackery says the range is aimed at firefighters, EMTs, utility repair crews, and shelter workers, while also serving households during outages.

The lineup includes:

  • Jackery HomePower 1000 Plus v2 Red Cross Edition with 1,000Wh of battery capacity. Jackery positions it as the smallest and lightest model, suited for devices such as two-way radios, GPS units, headlamps, and phones. At home, it could help run CPAP machines, phones, or a WiFi router.
  • Jackery HomePower 2000 Plus v2 Red Cross Edition, a 2kWh model designed for larger loads. Jackery says it could support first responders in field ambulances and, at home, keep a refrigerator running or power a coffee maker.
  • Jackery HomePower 3600 Plus Red Cross Edition, described as the largest model in the range. It has wheels, a telescoping handle, and a 30amp plug alongside standard AC ports, USB-A, and USB-C. Jackery says it is meant to provide heavy-duty power in situations where gas generators are not practical, with the added benefit of being quieter and safe to use indoors.

Each purchase also carries a donation component. Jackery says it will give 10% of the profit from each sale to help provide portable power for emergency responders on the front line. The company points to past use during California blackouts and wildfires and after hurricanes in Puerto Rico, and notes that portable power can be critical for life-support systems such as ventilators.

The three models will be available to relief organizations and the public at the beginning of September through jackery.com. Jackery has not announced specific dates or pricing yet.
