Telegram now lets users bundle photos and videos into a single swipeable carousel for messages and posts.

Pavel Durov has announced a new Telegram feature: users can now combine photos and videos into a single swipeable carousel when sending messages or publishing content.
In the demo shared with the announcement, the workflow is simple: select several files, then enable “Show as carousel.” Instead of sending a scatter of separate attachments, Telegram groups them into one block. For channels and chats, that should make long media sets easier to view and keep them from spilling across multiple messages.

The format is already familiar across social apps and media-focused messengers, where albums and carousels have long been standard. Telegram is effectively bringing the same idea deeper into its own messaging flow.
Durov framed the launch in his usual style, calling it “a small step for messaging” that helps turn cat photos into presentations. It is a modest update rather than a headline-grabbing overhaul, but one that could be noticeable in everyday use, especially when scrolling through media-heavy chat feeds.
