Apple Invites Adds Emoji Reactions and Confetti
Apple has updated Invites with emoji reactions for RSVP replies and a new confetti animation when guests respond.

Apple has pushed a small update to its Invites app, adding two new RSVP-related features. In version 1.10, hosts and guests can now react with emoji when someone replies to an event, and guests will see a confetti animation when they RSVP.
Apple says the release also includes bug fixes and performance improvements. The update is available now on the App Store.
The iPhone app launched in February 2025 and is designed to help users create invitations for events like birthday parties and baby showers. Creating an event requires an iCloud+ subscription with at least 50GB of storage, but anyone who receives an event link can RSVP for free on any device.
The update follows another recent expansion of the app. On Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 1:30 pm PDT, Apple added co-hosting, allowing two or more people to plan and manage an event together. That release also introduced new event background options and a setting that lets hosts make invited guests visible to all attendees.
