LG is introducing a new TV picture mode called Creator Original for select 2026 OLED evo models, starting with the W6, G6, and C6 series.

According to LG Electronics, the new setting gives studios more control over how streaming content appears on screen than Filmmaker Mode. While Filmmaker Mode is designed to strip away heavy TV post-processing such as motion smoothing, Creator Original takes the opposite approach: it keeps those tools available so studios can tune the image more precisely.

That includes settings for shadow detail, color balance, noise reduction, and motion handling, letting film and TV creators decide how their work should be presented on compatible sets.

LG is launching the feature in partnership with Prime Video, with an initial focus on the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie. The company is also tying in a voice command on LG Smart TVs running at least webOS 23. Saying “I have the power” into the LG Magic Remote will pull up content for the new release.

The feature is limited, for now, to LG’s higher-end 2026 OLED evo lineup. LG shared pricing for most of this year’s models in March, and many G6 and C6 configurations are priced between $2,000 and $5,000. Those sets also include features such as Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, 12-bit image processing, and enhanced dynamic range control.
