Apple Sports adds 7 soccer leagues in version 4.2

Apple Sports for iPhone now supports seven more soccer leagues in Asia and Europe, and adds formations for most soccer leagues.

Apple has updated its Apple Sports app with support for seven additional soccer leagues across Europe and Asia, alongside a new formations view for most soccer competitions.

The newly added leagues are:

  • Belgian Pro League (Belgium)
  • Superliga (Denmark)
  • Eredivisie (Netherlands)
  • J1 League (Japan)
  • Ekstraklasa (Poland)
  • Scottish Premiership (Scotland)
  • Swiss Super League (Switzerland)

In version 4.2, users can also view formations across most soccer leagues, making it easier to check each match’s starting lineup.

The app remains available only on iPhone, with the update rolling out now.
