Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 leak points to a thinner, brighter upgrade
A new leak says Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 could be 12% thinner, hit 5,000 nits and pack an 800 mAh battery.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 on Wednesday, and a fresh leak suggests the flagship wearable could get several notable hardware upgrades.
According to Evan Blass, who publishes the Leakmail Substack, newly shared renderings show the upcoming smartwatch from additional angles and include a handful of specs. Earlier this month, Android Headlines published an initial look at the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 design, but Blass' leak adds more detail.
If the leak is accurate, the new model will have an IP69K dust- and water-resistance rating, up from the IP68 rating on the 2025 Galaxy Watch Ultra. The watch is also said to be 12% thinner than its predecessor.
The leaked specs point to a larger 800 mAh battery, compared with 590 mAh on the 2025 model. Display brightness could also jump to 5,000 nits, up from 3,000 nits.
On performance, Blass says the watch will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chip, matching another leak from last week. In a separate leak, Blass also claimed the upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 will use the same processor.
