Garmin has introduced the CIRQA Smart Band, the company’s first fitness band without a display. It launches in the US at $199.99, with sales already underway.
The pitch is clear: a quieter wearable focused on tracking rather than notifications. The device is closely aligned in spirit with Whoop, offering round-the-clock monitoring of sleep, recovery, and training load — but without a mandatory subscription.
CIRQA tracks a broad set of health metrics, including:
- heart rate
- blood oxygen
- skin temperature
- stress
- heart rate variability
- sleep stages and sleep quality score
- rest recommendations and Body Battery
It also supports more than 80 workout types, automatic activity detection, and single-button control. Through Garmin Connect, users get access to metrics such as readiness for training, VO₂ max, training status, and recovery time.

There is no built-in GPS. Route tracking relies on a connected smartphone, though LiveTrack is available. Battery life is rated at up to 10 days, and the band can be worn on the wrist or on the upper forearm with an additional strap.
Garmin has not said anything yet about availability in other markets. The launch also serves as a test of the format itself: a screenless band aimed at people who are tired of constant digital noise but still want a solid set of fitness and recovery metrics.
