Geely prices 578 hp EV sedan at just $29,000
Geely has opened preorders for the Galaxy TT Ultra in China at 209,800 yuan for the first 999 units, with 578 hp and up to 650 km CLTC range.

Geely has opened preorders in China for the new Galaxy TT Ultra, a large all-wheel-drive electric sedan that starts at 209,800 yuan — about $29,000 or roughly 2.45 million rubles. That price applies to the first batch of 999 cars.
The positioning is clear: in China, the Xiaomi SU7 looks like the TT Ultra’s main rival, alongside some BYD sedans. On paper, Geely’s offer looks aggressive for the money, since buyers get all-wheel drive and what the source describes as the car in top trim.
Built on an 800-volt EV platform, the Galaxy TT Ultra delivers a combined 425 kW (578 hp). Geely says it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 km/h.
The car uses a 75.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery rated for up to 650 km on the Chinese CLTC cycle. With 6C ultra-fast charging support, Geely says the battery can go from 10% to 80% in 11.6 minutes.

The Galaxy TT Ultra measures 4,999 mm long with a 2,920 mm wheelbase. Exterior features include frameless doors, an active rear spoiler, roof-mounted lidar, and active shutters in the bumper to improve aerodynamics.
Inside, Geely fits a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.4-inch central display, and a 25.6-inch augmented-reality head-up display. The Flyme Auto 2 infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and Carlink. Other equipment includes the EVA smart assistant, a 23-speaker Flyme Sound audio system, 50 W wireless charging, and 256-color ambient lighting.
Both front and rear seats get heating, ventilation, and massage. Cabin extras include a built-in 5.2-liter refrigerator, fold-out second-row tables, and extra storage compartments. Total cargo capacity reaches 528 liters, including the front trunk.
Driver-assistance features are handled by a platform built around the NVIDIA Thor-U chip, lidar, and the Qianli Haohan H7 suite. The car supports autonomous driving in the city and on highways, voice-activated automatic lane changes, automatic emergency braking, collision prevention, and obstacle avoidance.
The front suspension is double wishbone, while the rear uses a multi-link setup with CCD electronically controlled dampers and a road-preview system described as a “magic carpet”. Earlier, it was reported that the flagship Geely Galaxy Battleship 700 SUV will be unveiled on July 24 with four motors, 1,129 hp, a locking differential, and satellite communications.
