xAI has expanded Grok 4.5 into Microsoft Outlook, a day after introducing Grok for Excel. The new integration lets the assistant work directly with email once a user connects their account.
According to the source, Grok 4.5 can analyze long email threads, pull out key tasks, prepare draft replies, and search for information on the web and on X.
It can also help manage the inbox by archiving, deleting, flagging, or moving messages. The report says Grok is able to write replies in a user’s personal style as well.

The Outlook launch follows xAI’s announcement just yesterday of Grok for Excel, which brings the capabilities of Grok 4.5 directly into spreadsheets.
The source describes Grok as an advanced assistant from Elon Musk’s xAI, distinguished from rivals such as ChatGPT by access to real-time data from X (Twitter), lighter moderation, and a signature rebellious sense of humor.
