Honor packs 8,100mAh into its new budget 5G phone
Honor’s X7e Plus 5G adds an 8,100mAh battery, Snapdragon 4 Gen 4, AI button, and IP69K protection starting at 999 Qatari riyals.

Honor has expanded its X7e lineup with the Honor X7e Plus 5G, a budget phone that pushes battery capacity further while adding 5G, a Snapdragon chip, and a dedicated AI Button. In June, the company introduced the 4G version of the X7e with a 120Hz display and a 7,500mAh battery. This new model raises the bar to 8,100mAh.
The Honor X7e Plus 5G features a 6.87-inch TFT LCD with HD+ 1592 x 720 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,020 nits. Honor also includes Dynamic Dimming and Eye Comfort modes.
A long press on the AI Button launches a set of tools including AI Memory, Circle to Search, AI Eraser, AI Summary, and Smart Recommendations. The phone runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10.

Honor says the battery has a typical capacity of 8,100mAh, with a nominal capacity of 7,900mAh, and supports 45W fast charging. According to the company’s internal tests, it is designed to operate in temperatures from -30 to 50 degrees and should retain more than 80% of its capacity after several years of normal use.
For cameras, the phone offers a 50MP main camera, an auxiliary sensor, and a 5MP front camera. The body is rated IP68, IP69, and IP69K, and also carries SGS Premium Drop and Crush Resistance certification. Dimensions are 168.3 x 78.54 x 8.3 mm, and weight is 216.5 grams.
Pricing and availability
The Honor X7e Plus 5G first launched in Qatar. The 6GB + 128GB model is priced at 999 Qatari riyals, or about $275, while the 8GB + 256GB version costs 1,099 riyals, or around $300.
Buyers can choose from Desert Gold, Velvet Black, and Meteor Silver. The phone has also gone on sale in Oman, but Honor has not named any other markets yet.
