HP’s 9-liter Star Desk S03 packs Core i3-14100
HP has launched a new Star Desk S03 in China with a Core i3-14100, 8GB DDR5, 512GB SSD, and bundled keyboard and mouse for 4,599 yuan.

HP has introduced a new version of its Star Desk S03 desktop in China, aimed squarely at office and home users who want a small prebuilt machine. The setup is straightforward: a compact 9-liter tower, plus a bundled wired keyboard and mouse.
Inside, the system ships with an Intel Core i3-14100, 8GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The compact chassis is one of the main selling points, but the port selection is notable too.
On the front, the PC includes:
- Three USB-A ports at up to 5 Gbps
- One USB-C port at 10 Gbps
Around the back, it offers DisplayPort 1.4a, HDMI, four USB-A 2.0 ports, and Ethernet. The motherboard also supports Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.

One unusual detail for a machine in this class is the power supply: HP includes a unit with 80 Plus Gold certification, a spec often skipped in entry-level office desktops where vendors typically prioritize lower cost and smaller enclosures.
The Star Desk S03 is already on sale in China starting at 4,599 yuan, or about $680. It gives HP another option in its lineup of ready-made mini PCs and office desktops, where it faces competition from local brands as well as Lenovo, ASUS, and Dell.
