A leather jacket worn by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has sold at Sotheby’s for $960,000 — nearly $1 million and about 16 times the auction house’s $60,000 high estimate. The Tom Ford piece, which included Huang’s autograph, drew 65 bidders.
Put in GPU terms, as the source notes, that amount is roughly the price of 250 GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards. Sotheby’s did not disclose the buyer’s identity, which is typical for sales like this.
