Lenovo has teased a new mini-PC under its Lecoo brand, hinting at a device smaller than its Mini Pro model from late 2025. While official specs remain under wraps, the compact system is expected to feature strong AI capabilities, potentially powered by Intel’s upcoming Lunar Lake processors.

Early leaks suggest top configurations might use a Core Ultra 7 258V chip, positioning the mini-PC as a potent option for AI tasks. The chassis will reportedly be metal, giving it a premium feel, and Lenovo promises an extensive array of ports.

A teaser from March 2026 reveals that the mini-PC will run second-generation Intel Core Ultra processors and support up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The port selection includes:

  • 1× HDMI 2.1
  • 2× 2.5G LAN ports

The device’s compact metal body will measure about 0.9 liters in volume and include an advanced cooling system. Storage options include two M.2 slots for SSDs, catering to users who need speed and expandability.

Lenovo hasn’t announced the official launch date yet, but increased teaser activity suggests the Lecoo mini-PC could debut in China as soon as late April 2026.

In the global mini-PC scene, where brands like Intel’s NUC and Apple’s Mac Mini dominate, Lenovo’s push to include AI-optimized hardware in a compact, port-rich package could appeal to creators and professionals looking for affordable, versatile workstations. The use of Intel’s next-gen Core Ultra chips places this device in direct competition with upcoming premium small form factors featuring hybrid CPU architectures.

What remains to be seen is how effectively Lenovo integrates AI acceleration and cooling in such a small chassis without compromising performance or thermal management-a challenge common in mini-PC designs. The Lecoo’s launch will test how mainstream manufacturers adapt desktop computing to the growing demands of AI workloads in compact formats.
