Redmi 17 4G leaks with a 7,500mAh battery

EPREL filings point to a 7,500mAh battery, 45W charging, and nearly 74 hours of runtime for the upcoming Redmi 17 4G.

A new EPREL certification listing has revealed key details about the upcoming Redmi 17 4G, including a notably large 7,500mAh battery. According to the published documents, the phone can run for up to 73 hours 54 minutes on a charge, though the testing conditions were not specified.

The documentation also says the device will support 45W fast charging and that its battery will retain more than 80% of its original capacity after 1,000 charge cycles. The phone is also listed with IP64 protection against dust and splashes.

Preliminary information suggests the Redmi 17 4G will feature a 6.9-inch display with 1600 x 720 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its dimensions are listed as 170.12 x 78.42 x 8.8 mm, with a weight of 232 g.

The smartphone is expected to use the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra and ship with HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16. Memory configurations are said to include 4GB or 6GB of RAM, paired with 128GB or 256GB of storage.

For cameras, the rear setup is expected to include a 50-megapixel main sensor, while the front camera is listed at 8 megapixels. According to rumors, the handset will be offered in blue, black, green, and purple, with a launch expected soon.
