Home internet in Russia is getting more expensive at a noticeably faster pace in 2026. According to market participants, tariffs rose by 10–20% in the first half of the year, depending on the region, operator, and calculation method.
That is well above the roughly 5–7% increase recorded for all of 2025. Data from TMT Consulting puts the average price increase for broadband access at 8–10% in the first half of the year. The changes affected both large federal operators and regional providers.
Federal companies are raising prices gradually, so the exact size of the increase depends on the region, contract terms, and service bundle. A package that includes television, for example, may be priced differently from an internet-only plan.

Rostelecom raised some tariffs by about 60 rubles, while ER-Telecom Holding increased some by about 100 rubles. On average, users' monthly bills rose by about 5%.
The faster price growth is linked to heavier pressure on home networks due to restrictions on mobile internet, as well as rising operator costs for infrastructure maintenance and access to communications facilities.
Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development said it is monitoring telecom service pricing together with the FAS and is prepared to investigate if it finds violations in tariff setting. Market participants also say further price indexation remains possible if current economic conditions continue.
