Xiaomi brings 15-minute washers to Europe
Xiaomi has launched two 8 kg Mijia laundry machines in Europe, with intro prices starting at €450 and a 12-year motor warranty.

Xiaomi has launched two new laundry appliances in Europe: the Mijia Washing Machine and the Mijia Washer-Dryer. Both are available now with introductory discounts. The washing machine costs €450 instead of the recommended €500, while the washer-dryer is priced at €480 instead of €560.
Both models use a front-loading design, a 525 mm drum, and an inverter motor with spin speeds of up to 1,400 rpm. Each supports up to 8 kg of laundry for washing, while the washer-dryer can dry up to 6 kg in a single cycle.
The washer-dryer carries a European energy efficiency class D rating. According to Xiaomi, it consumes 306 kWh per 100 standard wash-and-dry cycles.
Both machines include hot steam treatment to reduce bacteria and allergens, a color display for selecting programs, high-temperature automatic drum cleaning, and a 15-minute express wash mode.
Like other devices in Xiaomi’s ecosystem, both models support the Xiaomi Home app. Users can start a wash remotely, change program settings, monitor appliance status, and receive software updates.
