DNS chief says AI shouldn’t go everywhere
DNS Group director Dmitry Alekseyev says AI should assist workers, not replace established processes that already work well.

Artificial intelligence should not be forced into every business process simply because it is fashionable, according to DNS Group director Dmitry Alekseyev.
Speaking to TASS, Alekseyev said AI should help people rather than replace them in areas where existing workflows already function well. He described neural networks as a tool with very broad applications, but not a universal substitute for familiar ways of working.
Alekseyev compared AI to “informational and technological wings” that expand what employees can do instead of canceling out their expertise.
That view reaches well beyond DNS. Retail, banking, and media companies are all testing generative AI in customer support, analytics, and marketing. But where mistakes are costly, businesses have shown little urgency to remove humans from the loop.
For companies, the question is no longer whether to adopt AI at all, but where it actually saves time and money. If the benefit is not visible yet, Alekseyev’s argument is that there is little point in bending every process around AI.
