Samsung has begun rolling out the July One UI 8.5 update to Galaxy S25 phones in Europe, according to Tarun Vats. The release brings the firmware to users through the standard over-the-air (OTA) channel rather than the earlier manual route.
Previously, the update was available as ODIN files intended for manual installation. Those packages let users install the new software without waiting for the phased OTA rollout. Now, the firmware is starting to arrive through Samsung’s usual wireless update process.
The July One UI 8.5 update includes new optimizations, stability improvements, and fixes for critical vulnerabilities and bugs.
