Huawei Pura X sales beat expectations fast

Huawei’s Pura X and Pura X Max have reportedly sold about 1.54 million and 580,000 units, topping the company’s expectations.

Huawei’s new foldable form factor is off to a stronger start than expected. According to insider Digital Chat Station, sales of the company’s Huawei Pura X have reached about 1.54 million units, while the Pura X Max is at roughly 580,000 units.

The leaker said both figures are above Huawei’s own expectations. Digital Chat Station also claimed that both the Huawei Pura X and Pura X Max will get new versions next year.

Earlier reports said that in the first month of sales — as of the end of May 2026 — Huawei sold about 343,700 units of the Pura X Max. That was more than any previous Huawei foldable had managed over the same period.

One detail stood out: the pricier Collector’s Edition accounted for the larger share of those sales, at around 198,500 units. That suggests buyers were willing to pay for the premium version despite its higher price.
