Huawei’s 600 kW chargers reach Volkswagen drivers in China
SAIC Volkswagen now shows Huawei SuperCharge stations in its app, adding access to more than 10,000 charging terminals across China.

Huawei has expanded its partnership with SAIC Volkswagen, bringing Huawei SuperCharge stations directly into the automaker’s charging map in China. For Volkswagen owners, that means Huawei’s ultrafast chargers can now be found and routed to from inside the SAIC Volkswagen app.
In the first phase, users get access to 574 urban stations and 127 roadside locations. Huawei says the total number of newly available charging terminals now exceeds 10,000.
To find one, drivers open the charging map in the SAIC Volkswagen app, select the Huawei SuperCharge filter, and build a route to the station with one tap.

The Huawei Supercharging Alliance was created in 2024 to expand ultrafast charging across China. It later added major automakers including GAC Group, BAIC Heavy Truck, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle, and Shenzhen Automotive.
Huawei says the network now covers more than 200 cities, over 130 counties, and more than 50 highways. Since the start of 2026, the stations have also been integrated into Gaode Maps.
Huawei’s branded liquid-cooled charging terminals support up to 600 kW of power and are compatible with EV architectures from 200 to 1000 V. The company says the chargers deliver a successful charging session in 99% of cases, operate at less than 55 dB, and are designed for more than 10 years of service.
