The Lada Azimut will become a new entry in the brand’s lineup, taking the place of a compact crossover. The vehicle is now in the final stages of preparation for mass production.

AvtoVAZ also said the new crossover has successfully completed its mandatory certification crash tests. According to the company, the vehicle passed both frontal and side-impact tests, a required step before it can be cleared for sale.
