Minisforum has introduced a new AI X1 Pro configuration built around the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, with 24GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1TB SSD. In China, the mini PC starts at 7,289 yuan (about $1,070), rising to 7,889 yuan (about $1,170) after the launch promotion ends.

The system comes in a compact 195 x 195 x 47.5 mm chassis with a built-in power supply. For upgrades, it includes two SO-DIMM slots for memory and three M.2 PCIe 4.0 connectors for SSDs: two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots and one PCIe 4.0 x1 slot.

Wireless connectivity covers Wi‑Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Port selection includes:

  • two USB4 ports at up to 40 Gbps, with one on the front and one on the rear
  • two 2.5Gb Ethernet ports
  • an OCuLink PCIe 4.0 x4 connector for an external GPU or high-speed storage
  • an SD card slot

Minisforum also adds a few extra hardware touches: a built-in front microphone and a power button with an integrated fingerprint scanner on the top of the case.
