Nokia appears to be preparing a feature phone that does more than handle calls. According to a leak cited by ITzine, the Nokia 300 4G Power Bank will ship with a 3,700mAh battery, support 5W reverse charging, and last up to 44 days on standby.

That is an unusual mix for the feature phone segment, where buyers usually prioritize simplicity, long battery life, and low prices. Here, Nokia seems to be adding a built-in power bank function typically seen on rugged phones or smartphones with reverse charging.

The reported specs include:

  • 2.4-inch display with QVGA resolution
  • 0.3MP camera
  • 3,700mAh battery
  • Reverse charging up to 5W
  • USB-C charging up to 18W
  • IP65 protection
  • microSD support up to 32GB
  • 4G, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, and a media player

ITzine says the device is clearly aimed at travel, rural use, and backup-duty scenarios where a phone may sit unused until needed. In that context, an integrated power bank looks less like a gimmick and more like a practical extra.

The company is also said to be emphasizing the flashlight. The leak claims it is not just a basic LED for finding keys, but something intended for real use in the dark while traveling or outdoors. It even compares the light to the one on the iPhone 16 Pro, claiming it is twice as bright.

The feature phone market has long been split between cheap call-first devices and tougher handsets aimed at work, security, and travel. If Nokia brings this model to the mass market at a reasonable price, the appeal may extend beyond nostalgic keypad fans to people who simply want a backup power source for a smartphone.
