Samsung has started rolling out One UI 9 Beta 4 based on Android 17 to the Galaxy S26 series in the UK, Germany, and Poland. The update had previously become available to beta program participants in India.

The firmware carries build number S948BXXU4ZZG4, weighs about 1.25 GB, and includes the July Android security patch dated July 5, 2026.

According to the changelog, Samsung focused on bug fixes and system stability. The company says it fixed an issue where the clock size displayed incorrectly when rotating the lock screen, as well as crashes that occurred when turning Privacy Display on and off through Quick Settings and the Settings menu.

Samsung also fixed a bug that caused the navigation bar to disappear in some games. On top of that, it optimized interface performance when opening and closing the Quick Settings panel, corrected timer notification display issues in Live Notification mode, and fixed Bluetooth audio volume control.

That last fix addresses a problem that previously appeared when the phone was connected to a car multimedia system over Bluetooth.
