Samsung tips 5 new devices for July 22 Unpacked
Samsung’s July 22 Unpacked in London is expected to bring three foldables, two watches, and possibly Galaxy Glasses.

Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event lands in London on July 22 at 9 a.m. ET, and the biggest expectation is a fresh wave of foldables. Based on leaks and reports cited by Mashable, Samsung is likely to unveil at least five devices, led by the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
Samsung has confirmed it will share new details about its next-generation foldables at the event, though it has not named the devices. Mashable says the leak cycle has been unusually heavy, and the most interesting wrinkle is the naming: the Z Fold 8 is rumored to be a new, wider model, while the direct successor to the Z Fold 7 may arrive as the Z Fold 8 Ultra.
Expected pricing points to another expensive year. According to SEDaily, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra could start at $2,099, up $100 from the Galaxy Z Fold 7, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide may start at $1,899.99. Leaker Lanzuk, as cited by PhoneArena, suggests the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will start at $1,199, also a $100 increase.
Foldable specs and Samsung’s titanium hinge push
Rumored specs for the Z Fold 8 include a Snapdragon Elite 8 Gen 5 for Galaxy, 12GB of RAM, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage, and displays around 7.6 inches inside and 5.5 inches outside, according to PhoneArena. Mashable also notes separate rumors of a 5.4-inch outer display and 7.8-inch inner panel with a 4:3 aspect ratio, positioning the device as a possible answer to Apple’s still-unannounced foldable iPhone.

The Z Fold 8 Ultra is expected to carry the more traditional flagship role, with a Snapdragon Elite 8 Gen 5 for Galaxy, 12GB or 16GB of RAM, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage, an 8-inch main display, a 6.5-inch cover display, and cameras led by a 200MP wide sensor, plus 50MP ultra-wide and 12MP telephoto lenses.
Samsung has also previewed a new Flex Titanium design for its upcoming foldables. The company says a titanium-alloy film and titanium plate will better support the flexible display, with the goal of improving durability and reducing crease visibility.
The Z Flip 8 appears to be the least dramatic update. Rumored specs include either a Samsung Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 12GB of RAM, a 6.9-inch main display, a 4.1-inch cover display, 256GB or 512GB of storage, and cameras consisting of a 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10MP selfie shooter.
Beyond phones, Mashable expects Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 to debut, with incremental hardware changes and new health features. A Galaxy Watch Classic refresh does not appear likely this year.
There is also a chance Samsung will preview Galaxy Glasses. Mashable says the smart glasses are expected to work more like Meta’s camera-equipped eyewear than full AR glasses, with Google Gemini handling voice-driven assistance. Samsung is already known to be working with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster on the designs, and the first generation is expected in 2026.
