Asus has unveiled the Adol HC112, a compact 11-in-1 USB-C dock for laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The accessory supports up to three displays, data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps, and power delivery of up to 100W. It is already on sale in China for 329 yuan, with an introductory price of 299 yuan.

The pitch is straightforward: turn a single USB-C port into a full desktop setup rather than just a charging point. As thinner laptops continue to lose built-in ports, docks like this are becoming an easier alternative to carrying multiple adapters.

The Adol HC112 combines video output, networking, storage access, and charging in one aluminum body. According to Asus, key specs include:

  • 11 ports, including HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-A, USB-C, and Ethernet
  • Support for up to three screens at once on compatible devices
  • Up to 8K at 30Hz via DisplayPort 1.4
  • Up to 4K at 120Hz via HDMI
  • Up to 1080p at 240Hz for high-refresh-rate displays
  • Three USB-A 3.2 ports and one USB-C 3.2 port with up to 10Gbps bandwidth
  • SD and microSD card slots with simultaneous access to both cards
  • An aluminum alloy chassis measuring 116 x 48 x 15 mm and weighing 81 grams

The metal housing and braided USB-C cable suggest Asus is aiming at daily carry use as much as desk duty. The dock also adds gigabit Ethernet and a 3.5mm audio jack, making it possible to connect wired networking, headphones, and other peripherals through a single hub.

Triple-display support is the main differentiator here. Many mainstream USB-C hubs top out at one or two monitors, often with more limited refresh-rate options. Asus is positioning the HC112 for users who want a more capable fixed setup, whether that means work panels, a gaming monitor, or a tablet as part of a desktop arrangement.

At 329 yuan — roughly $48 — the dock lands in a crowded part of the market. ITzine notes that Asus will be competing not only with basic hubs, but also with offerings from Baseus, Ugreen, and Anker, which already combine 100W charging, 10Gbps ports, and multiple display outputs at similar price points.
