Belkin packs a light into this 10,000mAh power bank

Belkin is trying to make a crowded product category a little more interesting. Its new BoostCharge Pro Power Bank 10K combines a 10,000mAh battery with a pop-out LED light that can work as a night light, fill light, or even an SOS signal.
The light includes a motion sensor and brightness controls. TechRadar points to a few obvious uses: bedside lighting in a hotel room, extra illumination for photos or video calls, and a flashing mode that could help attract attention outdoors.
Beyond the lighting trick, the power bank has a built-in braided USB-C cable and a USB-C port, letting it charge two devices at once. Total output reaches 45W. When two devices are connected, the primary device gets 30W and the second gets 15W.
A small circular display shows the remaining battery percentage and also houses controls for the LED light. The accessory measures 118 x 60 x 32mm and weighs 257g, so the added lighting hardware does not appear to add much bulk.

For now, the device is only available in China, where JD.com lists it for 329 yuan — roughly $50 / £35 / AU$70. Since Belkin sells products globally, TechRadar notes that a wider launch is possible, though nothing has been announced.
