Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is still days away, but Caviar has already started selling a Lionel Messi-themed Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra nearly a week before the phone’s official reveal.
The luxury customizer describes the device as a tribute to Messi. It features handcrafted cloisonné enamel artwork of the football star in the colors of the Argentinian national team, plus 24-karat gold plating. Caviar also added a FIFA badge referencing Argentina’s 2022 World Cup victory, along with the country’s official crest and the Adidas logo. The package includes a royal blue custom box, more 24-karat gold plating, and a custom Caviar Key.
The price is the real headline: $13,130. Samsung hasn’t officially announced the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra yet, so there’s no official baseline price to compare against. But if it lands near its predecessor, which launched at $2,000, Caviar’s version could cost more than five times as much. It will also be limited to just 19 units.
Caviar’s listing also hints at a few details about Samsung’s upcoming foldable. According to the product page, the phone will come with 256GB of base storage, with 512GB and 1TB options available. Just as notably, the use of the Ultra name appears to support rumors that Samsung will launch two versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 8.

The model shown by Caviar appears similar to last year’s Z Fold 7, minus the gold and enamel work. A separate base Z Fold 8 is widely expected to use a wider chassis and a better aspect ratio for watching video on the main flexible display.
Caviar’s page doesn’t reveal much else about the hardware, and buyers hoping to get Samsung’s next foldable early may want to temper expectations. The company says that “production of your custom phone begins only after full payment,” which suggests all that enameling and gold plating won’t ship quickly.
