Denon launches Home 200, 400, and 600 multiroom speakers with HEOS and Dolby Atmos support

Denon has unveiled three new multiroom speakers-Home 200, Home 400, and Home 600-that challenge Sonos by offering HEOS ecosystem integration and Dolby Atmos support. Designed for flexible setup with other HEOS-compatible audio gear, these speakers deliver immersive sound tailored to different room sizes and needs.

Available in stone and charcoal finishes, the new Home series blends easily into home interiors. The lineup scales up in size and output power, giving users options from compact to robust sound systems.

The entry-level Home 200 packs three drivers powered by three amplifiers inside a compact enclosure, aiming for “natural, room-filling sound.” It features two 0.98-inch tweeters and a 4-inch woofer. Visually, it resembles the Sonos Move 2 but is not portable. The Home 200 can operate in stereo pairs or integrate with Denon’s Home Sound Bar 550 and subwoofer to create a 5.1 home theater setup.

The mid-tier Home 400 steps up with six amplifiers driving two 0.75-inch tweeters, two 4.5-inch woofers, and two upward-firing 1-inch drivers that bounce sound off the ceiling to enhance the soundstage and add Atmos-style height effects.

At the top, the flagship Home 600 features an even beefier driver array: two 6.5-inch woofers, two tweeters, two midrange drivers, and two upward-firing speakers. This setup delivers deeper bass and a more powerful overall sound compared to its smaller siblings.

All three models support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C, and AUX input. Using HEOS technology, you can wirelessly connect up to 64 speakers across 32 zones, enabling extensive multiroom audio setups. The HEOS app also supports popular streaming services like Tidal, Amazon Music, and Qobuz. Dolby Atmos Music is supported where available.
