Samsung’s next flip phone may look almost exactly like the Galaxy Z Flip 7. A new leak highlighted by 9to5Google, based on images and specs shared by WinFuture, suggests the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8 keeps nearly the same design as Samsung’s current foldable.

According to the leak, Samsung is not switching the Z Flip 8 to a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. Instead, the phone is said to use Samsung’s Exynos 2600, the successor to the Exynos 2500 used in the Z Flip 7. The other notable hardware change is reportedly support for 45W wired charging.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Z Flip 8 and the rest of its new foldables at a Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22nd. Earlier this week, the company also teased its new phones in a Spider-Man: Brand New Day promo, showing a flip phone that looked indistinguishable from the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and matched the design in WinFuture’s leaked images.

The design may be unchanged, but Samsung could add a new pale pink option alongside cream white and graphite black. WinFuture also says the displays remain the same as the Z Flip 7: a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED inner screen and a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED outer display. The base configuration is also said to stay put at 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM.
