Xiaomi has begun the public rollout of the final HyperOS 3.3 update based on Android 17 for several phones, including the Xiaomi 17 series and Xiaomi 15T Pro. According to the report, testing for HyperOS 3.3 has now ended.
The update is described as laying the groundwork for expanded features and changes coming later this year in HyperOS 4. Based on a changelog published by Ximitime, HyperOS 3.3 is focused mainly on system stability improvements and includes the June 2026 security patch.
Xiaomi is releasing HyperOS 3.3 for the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra in the global and European regions. The rollout for those models is public. The Xiaomi 15T Pro, however, is getting the global update through the Mi Pilot testing channel, which means only a limited number of users can install it before a wider release begins.
Even though HyperOS 3.3 does not appear to introduce many new features or visual changes, the download is unusually large at up to 9.5GB. The main reason is that it includes a full upgrade to Android 17.
As usual, Xiaomi is distributing the firmware in stages, so availability may take several days to expand across regions.
