Kodak EC35 brings film back for $34.99
Reto Project’s Kodak EC35 is a bare-bones 35mm point-and-shoot with a fixed 25mm f/10 lens, 1/100 shutter, and built-in flash.

Reto Project is launching another Kodak-branded film camera, this time at an even lower price. After the $99 Kodak Snapic A1, the company is now releasing the Kodak EC35 for just $34.99.
This is a stripped-down 35mm point-and-shoot. Its 25mm acrylic lens, fixed f/10 aperture, and 1/100 shutter speed put it roughly in the same class as a drugstore disposable camera. It also uses manual wind and rewind, while a built-in automatic flash reinforces that simple, disposable-style approach.
Unlike the A1, the EC35 drops extras such as double exposure and zone focusing. The idea is straightforward: a camera that requires almost no thought to use. Its one standout design touch is a sliding lens cover, a nod to the Olympus Stylus / Mju line.
Reto Project is also leaning on color. The EC35 will be available in butter yellow, lavender, powder blue, blush pink, and avocado green. The lens covers use a slightly darker shade than the body for contrast, and even the midnight black and vanilla white versions include contrasting accents.
