Snapdragon 4 Gen 6 leak points to Adreno 6

Qualcomm’s next Snapdragon 4 Gen 6 for low-cost smartphones looks set to focus on the parts users actually notice: graphics, memory, and efficiency. According to a leaked internal document, the chip will pair Adreno 6 graphics with LPDDR5 support while remaining on TSMC’s 4nm process.

That would mark a meaningful upgrade in phones priced below $300, where bottlenecks increasingly come from GPU performance, memory speed, and power use rather than raw CPU specs. The source notes that Qualcomm has often trailed MediaTek in this segment, where affordable chips with solid multitasking and 5G have become a key selling point.
