SpaceX hits 600th reused Falcon 9 launch

SpaceX has completed its 600th Falcon 9 flight using a previously flown first stage, during back-to-back Starlink launches less than eight hours apart.

SpaceX has reached another milestone in reusable rocketry, completing its 600th Falcon 9 flight with a previously used first-stage booster.

The mark was set during the second of two Starlink launches carried out less than eight hours apart on July 16, 2026. The first mission lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, while the second launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida.

According to the source, the missions successfully deployed 27 and 29 Starlink satellites into orbit. After completing their flights, both Falcon 9 first stages returned safely and landed.

The booster B1093, used for the Florida mission, flew for the 15th time. The B1080 stage launched from California made its 28th trip to space. SpaceX’s current record for the most flights by a single Falcon 9 first stage stands at 36.
