Belkin packs a motion night light into a 10K power bank

Belkin’s new 10,000mAh BoostCharge Pro adds a motion-sensing LED light, 45W USB-C charging, and a built-in cable for 329 yuan in China.

Belkin has launched an unusual twist on the everyday battery pack in China: the BoostCharge Pro Power Bank 10K with Motion Sensing Light. It combines a 10,000mAh battery, up to 45W output, a built-in USB-C cable, and a flip-out LED light that can work as a motion-sensing night light. It is already on sale on JD.com for 329 yuan, or about $49.

For a 10,000mAh model, the design is notably more practical than most standard power banks. Belkin is clearly positioning it as more than just a charger: something that can sit by a bed, go into a backpack, or travel in carry-on luggage. In a category usually focused on thinner bodies and slightly higher wattage, the added light module stands out.

Inside is a 10,000mAh battery. Charging is handled entirely over USB-C: one cable is built into the body and tucks into the side, while a second USB-C connection is available through a dedicated port. Both the cable and the port can deliver up to 45W.

  • Capacity: 10,000mAh
  • Maximum output: up to 45W
  • Ports: built-in USB-C cable and one USB-C port
  • Protocols: USB PD and PPS
  • Simultaneous charging: 30W + 15W
  • Weight: 257g
  • Dimensions: 118 × 60 × 32 mm

When two devices are connected at once, the power bank automatically splits output to 30W for the main device and 15W for the second. Support for USB Power Delivery and PPS means it should work with iPhone and Android phones, as well as some tablets, handheld consoles, and compact laptops that can charge within a 45W limit.

The more unusual part is the lighting system. Belkin has built in a pull-out LED lamp with a motion sensor and touch brightness controls. The company suggests using it as a bedside light, a small light source for photos and video calls, or an emergency light with an SOS mode.

On the front, a digital display shows the remaining charge as a percentage, and the same area includes controls for the lighting modes and the motion sensor. The source notes that the LEDs should have only a small effect on battery life. At 10,000mAh, the pack works out to roughly 37Wh, well below the 100Wh airline limit for carry-on batteries.

Price and availability

Belkin is selling the device in blue and orange. At 329 yuan, it is not the cheapest option at this capacity, but the extra cost appears to go toward the built-in cable, display, and motion-sensing light rather than battery size alone. The company also lists standard protections against overheating, overcharging, and short circuits, and says the device is certified for air travel.

That makes it a different bet from recent rivals. The source points to Ugreen’s recently announced 25,000mAh, 200W model with built-in cables, and Baseus' ultra-thin magnetic 5,000mAh power bank with 22.5W wired and 15W wireless charging. Belkin is going after a less obvious niche: a compact travel accessory that doubles as a charger and a self-contained night light.
