Xiaomi has updated its official end-of-life (EOL) list, adding 10 more Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices. Those models will no longer receive HyperOS updates, bug fixes, or security patches.

The newly added devices are:

  • Xiaomi 12
  • Xiaomi 12 Pro
  • Xiaomi 12S Ultra
  • Xiaomi Pad 6
  • Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro
  • Poco X5 5G
  • Poco X5 Pro 5G
  • Redmi Note 12T Pro
  • Redmi K60E
  • Redmi 10 5G

Some entries apply only to specific regional versions. In the Xiaomi 12 series, for example, the affected variants are those for China, Indonesia, and Russia, rather than every global model.

Most of the smartphones are now around three to four years old. Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro launched in 2022, Poco X5 arrived in 2023, and Redmi Note 12T Pro was introduced in the summer of 2023.

The biggest impact is the end of security updates. Without them, these devices will no longer receive fixes for newly discovered vulnerabilities.

Xiaomi’s extended support policy, introduced in 2025 with a longer support window, does not apply to these models because they were released before that policy took effect.
